Ingredients
- 3 Cans of Red Kidney Beans
- Pound of lean ground beef or ground chicken
- Chili powder
- 1 can of diced tomatoes
- 1 cup of water/tomato juice
- 1 Onion
- Shredded Cheese for garnish and crackers
Directions
Cook your ground beef/chicken with the onion chunked up. I season my meat with Sea Salt/Pink Himalayan salt, pepper, and garlic. Then combine the kidney beans, meat, tomatoes and water/tomato juice all in a big pot. Simmer on low for 20-30 minutes.
Garnish with cheese and crackers. My kids love pb sandwiches or cheese sandwiches with their chili and sometimes a hot dog! You could also combine everything in your slow cooker and cook on low all day and have it ready to go when you get home!!!!
